Farm Animal Veterinarian Technician

ABOUT THE POSITION:

This fixed term role runs from 23 March to 5 June 2026, working full time for the duration of the contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver outstanding service to our loyal clients while contributing to the continued development of our dairy offerings. The role is primarily dairy focused, with some lifestyle block work included.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside our technician team to assist with cow and heifer dry off services for clients

You will be supported by an experienced team of veterinarians and technicians who value your input and expertise.

To succeed in this role, you will have excellent attention to detail, be able to perform tasks to a high standard, and be physically fit with strong large animal handling skills.

We are looking for someone who is eager to grow and develop their own areas of interest. Ideally, you will bring:

  • A strong interest in dairy practice

  • A veterinarian technician/ veterinarian nursing qualification or a dairy farming background with excellent stock handling skills
